Control Surveys

Our survey professionals have been performing Global Positioning System (GPS) control surveys since 1993, providing GPS surveys for aerial photography, topographic design surveys, hydrographic surveys and flood studies. With this experience we have gained the necessary expertise to research NGS control and perform GPS mission planning studies to determine the most suitable times and conditions of GPS collection. GS field and office personnel are directed by registered land surveyors and are supported by the latest technology and precision equipment including static/real-time kinematic GPS and total stations for data collection. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs allow users the ability to visualize, explore, query, and analyze data geographically. GIS is a powerful tool used in many fields such as traffic, road networks, right-of-way, zoning, vehicle tracking, and GPS. It is also useful for demographics and feasibility studies and can be integrated with aerial and satellite imaging with large increases of value per unit image costs. We have talented GIS experts with years of experience in this growing field. Some of the applications used in this arena are Avenue, MapGuide, MapObjects, and ArcView.
